9/22/2023 According to a video circulating online, a female tenant’s home in Beijing was forcibly demolished without any compensation. The tenant, residing at 1 Xiaonong Road, Yuanquan Nongzhuang, Xishatun, Shahe Township, Changping District, Beijing, tearfully recounted that the demolition crew started the demolition after jumping into her yard. She mentioned seeking help from the local government with no success and added that she has a brain tumor but lacks the money for surgery. She also said that she doesn’t even know how to survive.
