Paragliding from Zarza Capilla (Spain - middle of nowhere) in July 2023

To go xc from Zarza Capilla 1,700m asl is recommended.
We tried 3 times and couldn't get through the inversion at 1,500m asl.
The two liner gliders (2 zeno 2's and 2 artik r's) seemed to have the advantage over my m7 (3 sets of lines) when pushing bar back into wind over the lee side of the ridge.
