Astroids warning Neptune and Jupiter can destroy earth

Both the amplitude and frequency of the cyclic variations in Earth's orbital elements are affected by Jupiter's orbit, which would change the spatiotemporal distribution of incident solar flux and thereby alter the seasonal patterns experienced by Earth.

While Jupiter often protects Earth and the other inner planets by deflecting comets and asteroids, sometimes it sends objects on a collision course straight toward the inner planets.
