Exploring MTSKHETA and Trying GEORGIAN CHRISTMAS FOOD

22/9/19 - Mtskheta, Georgia - We went on a day trip from Tbilisi to Mtskheta and we were not disappointed! After a short and cheap ride we arrived at the town where we headed to the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, the Samtavro Monastery and the Jvari Monastery. We saw the incredible confluence of the two rivers and also tried lots of Georgian food including: Churchkhela, lobio and durian khachapuri (a Christmas special in Georgia, apparently).
