'Hook Echo' Storm Makes Its Way Across Washington Suburbs

Unsettled weather was predicted for much of the greater Washington area on Friday, August 11. Weather researcher Mike Robinson shared timelapse footage of what he described as a “hook echo” storm making its way across the outskirts of the city in the early hours of the evening.
