Landslide Churns Up Dust in Sichuan 3 Days Before Earthquake

A dramatic landslide churned up dust in Sichuan’s Mao County on Sunday, August 6. Traffic was disrupted as parts of the National Highway 213 were buried. Another landslide was reported in Puge County, Sichuan, on Tuesday. Later in the day, the area of Jiuzhaigou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was hit by a magnitude 6.5 earthquake.
