Sometimes when we come home after a long day at work, we want to share what happened with someone, tell them how your day was and share all the exciting events from work. Well, this dad found a creative way to tell somebody how did his day went and meanwhile make his son sleep.

This dad stumbled on a better way than a lullaby to get his five-month-old son to fall asleep by explaining what his job entails. As doting dad Kevin Payne cradles Carter at home in Cortlandt Manor, New York, USA, he begins to describe what his role as a Technology Resiliency Manager means.

No sooner has he begun speaking about the various infrastructure tests his team do, Carter’s eyes quickly start to close, leading him to wake him up again. After asking if his son is paying attention, Kevin proceeds to talk about the fun he has shutting down production to test applications, finally causing Carter to drift off. Kevin said: “ Carter is not a good sleeper and I cannot carry a tune so rather than sing him to sleep I talk about work until he drifted off.

The joys of having children. Sure, they can be a lot of work to raise, but the love and memories that they bring heavily outweigh the challenges that they can deliver. This was one such moment as we will surely remember this one for a long time! These two are so adorable together!
Parents will do anything to make their babies sleep. Some people will drive around the block with their cars; some parents sing lullabies, some people turn on machines that make noises like the vacuum or the hairdryer. This 32-year-old father named Kevin Payne and his small talk about his job working in the IT sector makes his son Carter, fall asleep right away.

The exhausting portrayals of his daily work exercises are sufficient to make anybody fall asleep. Carter can hardly keep his eyes open even when his father tells him not to fall asleep. He uses kids as a sounding board for some of the random thoughts that run through his head at various hours of the night. Creative!

Who needs to sing songs and drive around when you can tell your kid how was your day at work? However, Kevin’s wife, Eryn, sticks to the old fashion way by singing lullabies to her son.

Do you have kids, and would you try this clever hack on your kid? If it’s working, why not! This caring dad sings his baby to sleep and it works pretty well for him! Baby Ada falls asleep to a soothing version of 'Hallelujah.' She's even mouthing some of the words! Such a heart-warming video and so thoughtful parents!

Please share this clip with your family and friends as it will surely make them smile! This is one video that you are not going to want to miss!
