Severe storms slammed Phoenix, Arizona, on August 3, bringing monsoon rains, strong winds and flash floods to the city. At least 23,000 customers were estimated to be without power on Thursday afternoon. Flights were also delayed at the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport due to the thunderstorm.
