Rumble Typhoon Noru approached Okinawa and the outlying islands of Japan’s Kagoshima Prefecture on Friday, August 4, bringing strong waves and gusts in its wake. The typhoon’s winds, estimated at about 86 miles per hour, hit Amami city early on Friday morning, as seen in this video.
