Lightning Strike Causes Tree Fire in Goshen

A tree caught fire after it was struck by lightning in a Goshen, Connecticut, community on Wednesday, August 2. According to the doppler radar, four inches of rain was recorded along Route 63 in Goshen. The storms brought heavy rain, hail, lightning and wind gusts of 60 mph across the state, according to WFSB.
