LIVE: Aftermath of earthquake in Morocco September 13, 2023

Live from the rural community Taddart in Guercif province on Wednesday, September 13, following last week's devastating earthquake in Morocco.

The region was heavily damaged by Friday's 6.8-magnitude quake.

Evacuations and rescue work continue in the affected areas, while the death toll has reached nearly 3000. Moroccan communities and neighboring countries have supplied aid to survivors in temporary camps across the country.

Many areas are still difficult to access, due to narrow roads and damaged infrastructure.
