Residents of the village of Clinton, located in southern British Columbia, were ordered to evacuate on Saturday, July 30 due to the Elephant Hill wildfire. The evacuation order was later expanded to include Chasm Mill, as well as Green Lake and areas around Highway 97 north and south of Clinton, CBC News reported.
