A family traveling from Knoxville, Tennessee, to Atlanta, Georgia, with Megabus, was kicked off the bus and left stranded in Chattanooga, Tennessee, on July 27. The incident occurred when the bus made a stop to pick up passengers at a gas station in Chattanooga. Taylor Rasnic, who uploaded the video, ran into the gas station’s convenience store to buy a beverage for her 7-year-old daughter during the stop. In the video, Taylor and her wife, Jenna Rasnic, said the bus driver began driving off while Taylor was still in the store. Jenna said she yelled at the driver to stop the bus, at which point he kicked the family off, leaving them stranded in Chattanooga. In another video posted by Taylor later that night, the family says they took an Uber to the airport where they were able to rent a car to drive to Atlanta. The family said a member of Megabus customer service contacted them “to express outrage over our treatment.” They added, “We are currently attempting to resolve the matter.” Credit: Facebook/Taylor Rasnic via Storyful
