Demonstrators in Dalton protesting the death of a Rashan Charles, a young black man who died following a police pursuit in London, blocked roads and threw debris at police on July 28. The Guardian reported makeshift barricades made from mattresses, wheelie bins and rubbish were used to block traffic in the north London neighborhood. The roadblocks were then set on fire. The videos shows police vans and offices in riot gear approaching the protesters, who scatter. The riot followed protests earlier in the day, during which masked protesters threw bottles and eggs at police. Charles reportedly died after he tried to swallow an object after being chased by police and restrained on the floor. Credit: Twitter/Helzplayf via Storyful
