Girl Gets Emotional Over Her Surprise Graduation Gift
Do you remember the first time you asked for a pet? You nagged your mom and dad, begging for that sweet little ball of fluff that you saw on the street or at the pet store. “I’ll love ‘im, and pet ‘im, and feed ‘im, and walk ‘im…” were probably the words you chanted over and over, in the hopes of convincing your folks that you are old and mature enough to take care of another living being.
There are times what all that nagging doesn’t always work and we are sorry if you are one such kid. But, for those that it did work, you will find this footage hitting quite close to home and in a very warm, fuzzy place.
This girl got the surprise of her young life when she got to look down a gift bag and find her surprise wagging its tail back at her! When Kirby Mackenzie graduated from high school, she asked her parents for a miniature wiener dog. Her dad Doug says: “Kirby has wanted a mini wiener dog as long as we can remember. Constantly dropping hints, sending us pictures all the time.’
The family already has a large hound, but Kirby’s brother takes most care of it. So, two weeks after Kirby’s graduation, her mom and dad ask her to come downstairs and check out her surprise over.
Obviously shocked by her parents’ goodwill, the girl falls on her knees, already sobbing with tears of joy. Kirby, who now works as a waitress, never expected to get the gift she had always wanted just two weeks after her graduation. She named her new bud Marley and he never leaves her side.
