If you ever felt like you are a lame homosapiens for not wanting to get out of bed in the morning, we feel you. But we are also here to tell you that you are not alone. In fact, one of our distant relatives felt it equally hard to leave his warm nap spot at the ZOO and watching him made us feel slightly better about ourselves.

The hilarious footage shows a young bonobo chimp at Twycross Zoo, in Warwickshire, England, finding it difficult to get up. The younger sits up briefly, but then decides he would much rather sleep a bit more in different location. Just as we like to get out of the bed, go to the living room and nap a bit more there as well.

The footage, captured on July 25 in Twycross Zoo in Warwickshire, shows the groggy monkey lying on the floor in his enclosure and getting up briefly only to search for another location to rest.

The little guy really looks like he is taking his precious time and we couldn’t blame him. Greeting all those visitors at the ZOO can be pretty exhausting. He turns to the side and hugs a bunch of straw next to him, just like a kid would hug a teddy bear.

Then, at one point he gets up, grabs his straw and passes right in front of the busy window filled with ZOO visitors, scaling them head to toe for interrupting his nap, before settling elsewhere in the enclosure.
