Since i live in a rural area on a busy road, I've leash trained my cat, Church since we got him from the shelter. He's pretty good a following some verbal commands but i wanted to see if he could learn some had signals.

in the video he obviously wants to go out for his walk so he runs to the door. You can see that i simply waved my hand away and he moved away so i could get ready without stepping on him. the next hand signal was my hand open telling him to stop. Then i pointed my finger up which meant stay. after i got his leash on, I snapped my fingers and he came over to the door, arched his back up so i could get his harness on.

i left the audio on during my recording so you can hear that i barely say anything.

Unfortunately like all pets and kids, getting to hae them listen to you consistently is another trick all together. ;)
