Jean Phelps Veloz is an icon of 'Hollywood-Style Lindy Hop' for the current swing dancing generation. She’s a living bridge from the Los Angeles dance scene of the 1940's to the present-day Lindy Hop revival that is currently sweeping through the United States and the rest of the world.

Jean grabs her partners, and simply dances. And boy, is she setting the bar so high for all those watching her and contemplating whether to even try to give her some competition. Although it might seem like Jean and her fellow dancers are dancing at a competition level, it was not a competition night at all. It is her 90th birthday party at the Navy Club in Grand Palace Bangkok, Thailand!

Watch as she shows off her stunning moves with fellow dancers Chong Chan Meng, Remy Kouakou Kouame and Skye Humphries while celebrating her 90th birthday. Young men line up to have the honor of dancing with the 90-year-old dancing queen during SEA Jam 2014 dance camp, organized by Jitterbugs Swingapore and Bangkok Swing. Now that's impressive! Another proof that age is nothing more than a level up is 91-year-old Johanna Quaas, who is still active in practising gymnastics and can be seen performing a flawless gymnastics routine during a competition in Berlin, Germany.
