Ski BASE Jump
Occurred on February 1, 2017 / Chamonix, France
Info from Licensor: "After skiing off the Grand Montets lift in Chamonix, France, my friend Maria and I cross the Argentiere Glacier to reach the top of a 150m cliff, ready for a 2-way ski BASE. Ski BASE combines the disciplines of skiing and BASE jumping, so one must be an expert skier to be able to safely attempt a ski BASE. Ski BASE is much more exhilarating than BASE jumping and more dangerous. With standard BASE jumping, once committed the individual only has one or two seconds before the jump occurs, therefore only allowing a very limited time for hesitation and fear. On the other hand with Ski BASE, once an individual makes the commitment to 'go', there are several seconds of buildup to the jump."
