Rumble Flooding in Grayslake, Illinois, shut down streets and threatened homes and businesses on Wednesday, July 12. More than four inches of rain fell in Grayslake in under three hours, prompting Grayslake Mayor Rhett Taylor to call it a “100-year flood.” Even after the sky cleared, parking lots and streets were flooded with water, as shown in this video.
