Police Lift Woman from Wheelchair into Van During Healthcare Protest

Columbus, Ohio, police lifted a woman was lifted from her wheelchair to place her in a police van, during a July 7 protest over the Republican Senate bill to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act. The video shows a woman, identified in the video as Ericka Jones, being removed from her wheelchair and placed into a police van by several officers. It is not clear if the van was wheelchair equipped. Sixteen people were arrested at the protest at the office of Republican Sen Rob Portman of Ohio. The activists were calling on Senator Portman to vote no on the Better Care Reconciliation Act, the proposed Senate bill to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act.
