Occurred on June 30, 2017 / Lysebotn, Norway
Info from Licensor: "The annual SBK BASE jumping event takes place in Lysebotn, Norway. 'SBK' stands for 'Stavenger BASE Klub'. Hundreds of BASE jumpers from all over the world attend the SBK event, which is a 3-day BASE extravaganza, filled with base jumping and partying. Lysebotn is a great destination for BASE jumpers because jumping is legal at this location. And In addition, the gigantic 3,000ft cliffs are safer to jump from because their height allows more time for errors to be corrected. These 3,000ft cliffs are stunning and provide a beautiful backdrop for base jumping. At this year's SBK event, jumpers raised the bar for excitement by integrating a 'Russian Swing' at the top of the cliff. The swing allows jumpers to be launched up into the air similar to a diving board. The jumper in this video is Jimmy Pouchert. Jimmy owns Apex BASE; a base jumping company that makes gear and equipment. Jimmy has been base jumping for over 20 years and is an expert jumper. In this video, Jimmy executes a beautiful front flip before falling 3,000 feet to the bottom of the fjord where he makes a perfect landing."
