This golden retriever became an online sensation when he poked his head up from a piece of luggage on the train he was traveling in. The video he stars in has now gained over 21,000 likes on Facebook. Despite appearing to be lodged in a cramped case, camera holder Kristine said the dog was happy and the video makes the carrier look much smaller than it was.

Recently, the rules from the New York subway made dog owners in the city think out of the box. The rule says “No person may bring any animal on or into any conveyance or facility unless enclosed in a container.”. Basically, you can only bring your dog with you on the morning commute if it can fit into a bag.

At first, it seems that only tiny dogs are allowed on the subway. But Newyorkers are clever people, so they decided to bend the rule a little. Dog owners started putting their dogs into all sorts of bags that would safely and comfortably fit them and then they would throw the bag on their shoulders and ride the trains like it is the most mundane thing to see a Husky in a tote bag! One woman even made a harness out of a blue IKEA bag for her greyhound. “You said the dog has to be in a container. Well, it's in a tote bag.”
