Chip is just the neatest mule. He is beginner friendly, handy and kid safe too. Making him the whole package. Chip has had a real ranch job from branding to gathering and sorting, up and down the mountain in the most rough and rocky terrain. He will go anywhere you point him, never hesitates, up on top of the rocks, through the river, down the shale he will go. Chip loves people and is super easy to catch. We catch him out on 100 ace pasture with 50 other horses, cattle and goats, swing on him bareback and pony the rest of the horses in on him. Chip is so kind and gentle he lets the kids climb all over him. They take him swimming in the pond on the hot summer days jumping off him, splashing and having tons of fun. We have handed him to beginners and he has taken excellent care of them, kind and forgiving of their mistakes, never taking advantage of them. Chip is happy to ride in any position in a group or he will ride out alone and be happy just to be with you. Chip rides double, bareback and doesn’t mind the kids leading dogs off of him. Our dogs are continually running around Chip, under his belly and between his legs. He goes over all the trail obstacles with ease, not spooky at all. Chip isn’t bothered by wildlife or domestic animals including, pigs, yacks, peacocks, guineas. Chip has a good one handed neck rein. In the arena he lopes nice circles, knows his leads, lopes out of his track slow, easy and has a pretty stop on the hind end. Chip is also taught tricks, he will lay down and sit. Chip is excellent with his ears and feet. He stands well for the farrier and the vet. He is up to date on worming, vaccinations and farrier. Chip comes with complete dental, farrier, vet records and health exam. Additional vet work welcome at your expense. We will haul to any vet in Park County, Wyoming for free.
