This woman just celebrated a great accomplishment! She transformed from being “so skinny she could snap” at 70 pounds of body weight, to a gym bunny. Holly Griffiths from Greenwich, London, has been battling anorexia for 17 years and she has finally said goodbye to the choices that threatened her life.

The mom-of-two first stopped eating at the age of eight and only got her wake-up call last year when she realized she better start recovering or suffer the consequences. Holly was prescribed with antidepressants and sought help for her body dysmorphia. She also started introducing pizza into her diet every two weeks and regularly posted photos of her achievements.

Since then she is working out religiously at the gym to gain her muscles and has been eating a 2000-calorie diet. It is her first in nearly two decades. Now she trains on becoming a counselor to help others that might be suffering like she did.

The 25-year-old mom said: “Body dysmorphia had blinded me to the point where I looked like I was about to die, I looked horrific, I can’t believe I could even stand up back then. Now when I look at my body I can see I’m stronger, my skin is healthier where before it was yellowish-grey, I don’t have bones sticking out at weird angles and I no longer have spots.”

She never thought is possible to get where she is now. But after having all her skinny clothes thrown away, which she had been saving ion case she relapses again, Holly is finally proud of her body and how strong she has become.
