A driver making his way through the M5 tunnel towards Kingsgrove in Sydney was shocked to see a cyclist travelling in the right lane on Tuesday, July 4. The cyclist caused cars travelling behind to slow down and pass in the left-hand lane in a bid to avoid them. According to the Roads and Maritime Authority cyclists are not allowed to travel through the M5, where the speed limit is 80km/h and drivers are urged to recycle their air-conditioning. Graeme Perrett, who recorded the footage, told Storyful that the video was recorded as he travelled westbound through where the tunnel neared the Cooks River.
