Dismantling of Calais 'Jungle' Camp Begins

French authorities began dismantling the migrant and refugee camp in Calais known as the “Jungle” on Monday, February 29. Two bulldozers appeared on the camp’s periphery and a water cannon was deployed to the scene, according to the BBC. Hundreds of migrants living in the camp are due to be relocated to several reception centers. This footage shows the demolition work underway at the camp.
