Hundreds Wait in Brussels Airport Hangar Following Blasts

Hundreds of people quietly waited in a Brussels Airlines aircraft maintenance building at Brussels Airport on Tuesday, March 22, following a number of deadly bombings at the airport and in the Brussels metro system. At least 13 people were reported to have died, though the government had not confirmed the number at the time of writing.The airport and the city’s metro, bus, and tram systems were shut down, and tunnels in the city were closed. Trains to and from Brussels-South station, the largest station in the city, were suspended, according to Eurostar.
