Kumamoto Residents Congegrate Outside After Second Earthquake Rocks City

A 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck the southern Japanese city of Kumamoto in the early hours of April 16, two days after a 6.2 earthquake rocked the area. The earthquake occurred at around 1.25am local time. Local media reported that Japan’s Meteorological Agency issued a tsunami warning for coastal areas in the Kumamoto Prefecture, but it was lifted about 50 minutes later.This video was shot on Periscope by Noel Vincent, an American who lives in Kumamoto. It was recorded outside a 7-Eleven store in downtown Kumamoto shortly after the earthquake on April 16.
