This plane landing at Birmingham Airport made a dramatic landing as wave vortexes formed from its wings. Wake Vortex Turbulence is the technical term for the phenomenon, which is caused by the difference in pressure above and below the wings. The pressure difference triggers a roll-up of airflow behind the wing, creating the swirling vortexes.
