Clashes erupted between May Day protesters and police in central Paris on Sunday, as tens of thousands took to the streets incensed by controversial labour law reforms. France 24 reported police used stun grenades and tear gas, while protesters hurled projectiles at officers.The rally set out from the Bastille to Place de la Nation in the early afternoon, with worker’s union CGT claiming a turnout of 70,000.
