The Louvre in Paris closed to the public on Friday, June 3, amid worsening flooding caused by days of torrential rain. The waters of the River Seine approached many of the city’s famous icons, including – as seen in this footage – the Cathedral of Notre Dame, the Eiffel Tower, and the Louvre.
