Plane Drops Retardant Onto Goodwin Fire

The Goodwin Fire continued raging on Thursday, June 29, scorching nearly 25,000 acres of Prescott National Forest in Arizona after breaking out the previous Saturday. More than 650 emergency workers have been mobilized to handle the fire. Despite the large region burnt by the blaze, firefighters expect to have the Goodwin Fire contained by midnight on July 4, AZ Central reported.
