Bristol resident and University of West England student Matt Sterling returned to his flat on June 27, prior to moving out. When he got to his student accommodation, however, he said he found a frightening mess. Sterling claimed the kitchen sink was filled with raw sewage, that plates had been used as ashtrays, and it had been left to him to clean up. His video showed how filthy the property was, with dirty carpets and a bathroom sink covered in stains. Sterling was left bewildered as he saw a broken cheese grater, and was soaked when a large amount of water came out of the open washing machine. On Snapchat, Sterling has since shown his new student accommodation, but said he got no help from his flatmates in clearing out the old property. Credit: Facebook/Matt Sterling via Storyful
