A park in Winona, Minnesota, became the scene of a confrontation on Thursday between fans of Pokémon Go and people angered that the mobile game was driving traffic to a nearby veterans memorial.Ky Vo filmed this angry exchange between Pokémon Go players and a man who identified himself as a veteran. The video shows the man shout at the younger men and knock down a gazebo during the confrontation.Winona Daily News reported that the city council planned to hold a vote on Monday to ban recreational activities, including Pokémon Go, at the park following a surge of visitors being driven by the game marking the area as a ‘gym’. Pokémon Go fans have started a online petition to lobby against the ban.
