Rumble A brush fire in Highland, California, grew quickly and burned dangerously close to homes on Tuesday, June 27. The fire, known as the Mart Fire, started at around 3 pm on Tuesday and grew from five acres to 300 in about an hour, reported KABC. Parts of Highway 330 were closed and mandatory evacuations were ordered for the area as fire threatened structures, according to San Bernardino County Fire Department, KABC reported.
