More than 1,000 people shed their clothes at the crack of dawn for a freezing nude swim on Wednesday, June 21, to celebrate the winter solstice as part of the annual Dark Mofo festival. According to The Mercury, 1,020 people showed up, which was more than expected, and the ABC reported there were not enough towels to go round.
