KCP&L to give away energy-saving Nest thermostats for free

Kansas City Power & Light is giving away Nest thermostats, which will learn your daily routine and adjust accordingly. It's a program KCP&L started to make homes more energy efficient, and customers are saving 15-20 percent on their energy bills.
