Massive hail chunks rained down upon southeast Texas on June 15, hitting the Midland and Odessa areas especially hard. This footage shows the hail smashing onto tables and chairs on a patio. The hail was said to be “golf ball and baseball size,” according to OA Online, while thunderstorms and wind speeds of 50-70 miles per hour were also reported in Midland County. The Southeast Texas Record reported that local insurance companies were overwhelmed with claims as residents woke up to “damaged roofs and automobiles with shattered windshields.” Credit: Instagram/ohnosoco via Storyful
