The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the crash of a blimp flying over the US Open golf tournament in Erin, Wisconsin, on Thursday, June 15. The blimp’s pilot was with the aircraft as it fell to earth and was taken to the hospital with burns. The blimp caught fire as it slowly sank, landing in a field off the golf course.
