A severe thunderstorm watch was issued for parts of Illinois on June 14 as a group of storms rolled through areas surrounding Chicago, bringing a funnel cloud to Mendota, Illinois. Thunderstorms caused damage to trees and utility lines in the Illinois Valley and La Salle County. There have been reports of a tornado spotted in Wyanet.
