LIVE: Outside Fulton County jail as Former President Trump is expected to surrender to authorities

Live outside Fulton County jail in Atlanta on Thursday, August 24, as Donald Trump is expected to surrender to the authorities.

The former president and 18 co-defendants face a total of 41 counts relating to an alleged 'conspiracy to unlawfully change the outcome’ of the 2020 presidential election in the state of Georgia.

Trump announced that he would be going to Atlanta on Thursday to be 'arrested’, via his Truth Social account. He strongly denies all 13 charges against him.

It marks the fourth criminal case against Trump, who remains the Republican frontrunner for the 2024 nomination.
