When Sue Markham told her husband Robert she wanted to adopt a puppy, he have her just one condition - he doesn’t want it to be a big breed. So she told him that the black-and-white puppy she brought home was Jack Russell terrier.

But the granny was left ‘in the dog house’ when the 1lb 5oz puppy she told her husband will be a small breed grew into one of the biggest dogs in the UK. Yogi, also known as Bear, just kept growing and growing - until he reached a whooping 200 pound weight!

The 9-year-old Great Dane goes through roughly $49 of food a week, making it over $200 a month! His diet includes four scrambled eggs and sausages for breakfast every day. To give you an idea as to how big Yogi is, he wear a HORSE COAT for those walks when it’s cold outside.

The 57-year-old grandmother-of-four says: “When I saw Bear I fell in love with him and knew I wanted him but I knew Robert didn’t want a big dog. So I told a little fib and said he was a Jack Russell. But it started to become fairly obvious when Bear dwarfed any other dogs in the village, so the game was up."

A pure example of a little white lie turning into a massive puppy love!
