A Victorian city kicked off their Christmas festivities on November 11 with a 25 metre tall floating Christmas tree which illuminated the waters of the harbour.

Geelong’s floating tree has lit up the harbour in the south Melbourne city for the past three years, according to the <a href="http://www.geelongadvertiser.com.au/news/geelong/light-up-geelong-2016-crowds-gather-to-floating-christmas-tree-fireworks-and-town-hall-projections/news-story/d1631ca54891d1669310af8e5943515b" target="_blank">Geelong Advertiser</a>.

Geelong man, Brendan Calwell, captured a gorgeous timelapse of the tree floating and changing colours in the port.
