Libertines frontman Pete Doherty led a crowd through a performance of La Marseillaise played primarily by a solo violinist at the Bataclan theatre in Paris on November 16.

Doherty’s performance came just days after the Bataclan held <a href="https://newswire.storyful.com/storylines/*/stories/148536" target="_blank">its first gig</a> since reopening, a year after the November 2015 Paris attacks.

Doherty has previously <a href="https://newswire.storyful.com/storylines/*/stories/130767?q=bataclan&sort=newest" target="_blank">performed</a> a song he wrote about the attacks.
