A Kiwi man named Kereama Te Ua showed his support for the indigenous people of North Dakota when he performed a haka in a snowy, mountainous part of the state on Saturday, November 26.

Te Ua performed the traditional ceremony from New Zealand, which acts as a war cry, in solidarity with the Sioux people and environmentalists who are <a href="https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2016/nov/28/north-dakota-access-pipeline-evacuation-order-standing-rock" target="_blank">staging a protest</a> against the Dakota Access Pipeline.
