Surveillance Camera Catches Limb Falling During Oregon Ice Storm

An ice storm rolled through parts of Oregon on Wednesday, December 14, and was still crippling areas on Thursday.

Large swathes of Eugene, Oregon, were coated in ice, knocking down power lines and tree limbs, <a href="http://registerguard.com/rg/news/local/35092880-75/dangerous-ice-storm-continues-on-thursday.html.csp" target="_blank">according to reports</a>. Officials encouraged people to stay home and off the roads.

The cold was expected to continue through the weekend with significant melting not expected until Monday.
