Minnesota Vikings players were stranded on the team plane at Appleton Airport, Wisconsin, for several hours on Friday, December 23 after the plane skidded off the runaway.

One of the rear wheels on the plane left the runaway while the aircraft was taxing to the terminal after landing, according to updates shared from the Appleton Airport and Vikings Twitter accounts. The football team, due to play the Green Bay Packers on Saturday evening, were eventually removed using a cherry picker.
