This boy is an inspiration to us all! Xander Jameson is only two years old, yet he has had 4 open heart surgeries in his oh-so-short life. Still, he wouldn’t let it stop him from flashing the camera with his big smile!

Xander was born with a congenital heart defect, among other health issues. Xander’s mom Nicole discovered about the defect when she was 16 weeks pregnant. Doctors suggested she should terminate the pregnancy, but the brave mother decided she will carry the baby to full term. He also suffers from a string of other issues, like gastrointestinal issues and brain damage from a pediatric stroke. He also has acute apnea, meaning he stops breathing in his sleep. So many problems for such a young soul.

He had his first heart surgery was when he was only six weeks old, with three more to follow in the upcoming years. But the gorgeous head of blond locks from Iowa will not let his spirits be dampened, no sirree. Just like this video is about to prove.

The wheeled walker that Xander is so bravely using in the clip helps him for his hypotonia, which means his muscles are underdeveloped. But his mom says the tiny hero makes constant progress each and every day, despite Xander being also diagnosed with something called 'failure to thrive', saying that he is not gaining weight properly for a kid his age. Still, the brave baby boy is getting better every day.

What an inspiration!
