Rumble Waves slammed cars against the harbor wall in Broadstairs, Kent, as a storm surge brought flooding to several towns on Britain’s east coast on Friday evening.

The Environment Agency had issued flood warnings for several coastal communities and Jaywick was evacuated over fears that high tides and winter storm could breach flood defences in the Essex village.

This video shows waves from Broadstairs’ Viking Harbour lifting two cars parked on the shore front.
